Due to a bug in the jQuery library 1.2.6, the Alt Key is not working anymore. This bug is already fixed in the trunk. We have to wait for the next release or downgrade to jQuery 1.2.3.

markItUp! worked almost fine on Opera 9.27 but does not work properly on 9.5. The cursor jumps to the beginning of the textarea at any insertion. Thanks Bohdan for bug reporting.
